Once a year, for a few weeks, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden turns into a wonderland. Pink, green, blue... it is incredibly difficult to photography with any kind of truth. That is, all that color causes wild shifts in the balance of the light. Where things are drab, they are my fault; where they are unbelievably colorful, they are nature's fault.
