Hopped on a train to hear one of Itzhak Perlman's students give a performance at Julliard, and then hoofed it to the High Line for a nice cold weather walk. Along the way a few surreal occurrences happened: a man promoting something was driving his minivan with a fake passenger, an exhibitionist was flashing the High Line from a hotel window, and a music video with circus actors was being shot near the lines' Northern terminus. What a day.
And no, yours truly doesn't normally make his college-age pose (tongue out) these days for egotistical reasons; I was trying to see how badly I bit my tongue while attempting to eat an apple. There was blood.
